The BIG News!

I'm so blessed to have friends and family who care so much about my little family. Let me give everyone an update on the adoption. Our very sweet birthmom, Kat, is such a trooper!! She moved to Tulsa about 3 weeks ago so she could be here for the delivery. She has been staying at an extended stay hotel and pretty much taking it easy. Luckily, she has a friend from elementary school who lives here and they have rekindled a friendship. They have been able to hang out a lot and cut down on some of the boredom. The "official" due date is Dec. 18th, but since she didn't ever have a level one ultrasound the doctor said that date had a margin of error of 3 weeks. Ha ha! So we're taking it day by day. At our last appt. the doctor said he looked and looked and couldn't find any boy parts (which are usually very pronounced by now) and he was pretty sure he saw the three lines of a girl's part. He said if he was a betting man he thought it would be a pretty safe bet that it was a girl. So her name will be Roxy Katherine Muret. We have a doctor appt. tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted on any new news. I know that Kat is really hoping to be able to go home for Christmas, and we are sure hoping little Roxy is here before then too.
